Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
